Kkamnangun is based on the author’s childhood memory of learning the Korean alphabet from her blind grandmother.

It is a bilingual book written in Korean and English.
Since it was published in 2020, it has been introduced by public media, magazines, and newspapers in Korea.

Kkamnangun was selected as an audiobook by the Publication Industry Promotion Agency in 2021.
This year, it was adapted into a puppetry performance by a Korean puppetry theatre company, Insari, and chosen as
the featured domestic piece for the 2024 Chuncheon Puppet Festival, a prestigious event in Korea.
